Create a syllabus from scratch for a uniquely original visual arts course, as pitched by the teaching artist, to lead a class of youths between 6th grade and 12th grade in honing artistic abilities with a showing at the end of the classes to present artworks. Celebrate, encourage, and motivate local Chicagoan LGBT+ and POC youth to engage in the arts through no cost-programs to reach communities who do not have access to arts programming due to financial and systemic barriers.

Therapeutic Group Facilitator at Game to Grow

Prepare and lead optimized, individualized activities for groups of neurodivergent and mentally ill participants between the ages of 11-22 within weekly 120 minute virtual sessions to encourage creativity. Established the company’s first LGBT+ and Trans-focused groups, to elevate marginalized clients and cater to their specific needs. Facilitate dialogue between clients, family, and program workers on a regular, scheduled basis. Construct challenges to encourage developmental growth with game mechanics and collaborative storytelling.

Math Tutor at Saga Education

Worked with underfunded public high schools to provide supplementary math homework help to struggling students in a remote Google Meets calls 40 hours a week. Maintained a living Google Drive to track and record progress for over 100 students. Weekly and monthly phone calls with caretakers to report on student growth.
